The Kawartha Quiltmakers' Guild held their show, Feelings in Fabric, on the weekend of May 1st & 2nd, 2004 and presented the OQC Rosette to Phyllis Wysotski. Phyllis's piece, called Pleated Water Garden, won Viewers' Choice for wall-hanging. This quilt was made from machine-pieced strips cut from the background fabric and sewn back together with a coloured pleat in each row of stitching. It was a beautiful way to use a specialty fabric (perhaps a scenic fabric) - the scene stays visible through the coloured pleats. The new NGC Coin Explorer is a free research tool. . payday loans |
