The Kincardine Sunset Quilters Guild celebrated their 10th Anniversary with the Kincardine Quilt 2004 show, held on the weekend of May 21st & 22nd, 2004, and presented the OQC Rosette to Caryl Scheel. Caryl's piece, called Star Struck, was President's Choice winner for her use of colour and her impeccable stitching. Caryl has been quilting for only five years. Her stunning quilt was made using Jackie Robinson's Quilt Collector's Series pattern. This quilt incorporates the very old and well loved log cabin blocks and zooms it into the nineties with the use of many 3-D units throughout the quilt. times square hotel
